Symptoms

In its early stages, nasopharyngeal carcinoma may not cause any symptoms. One of the first symptoms is often a painless swelling or lump in the upper neck. Other symptoms may include any of the following:

• Blood in your saliva
• Bloody discharge from your nose
• Nasal congestion
• Hearing loss
• Frequent ear infections
• Headaches
