Dharamshila Gynaecology cancer centre can provide these evidence-based treatments because of its strong multidisciplinary team approach. The team is made up of gynaecological cancer surgeons, oncologists (specialists in radiotherapy and chemotherapy), psychologists, oncology nurses, physiotherapists etc.
Patients may be referred to our team after being diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer or precancerous condition. These include women with:
- Pelvic cancers such as cervical, endometrial, ovarian or vulvar cancer
- Abnormal Pap smears or cervical lesions requiring further examination
- Abnormal uterine bleeding
- Vulvar irritations or lesions
- Pelvic masses
We also are experienced in treating cancers that have recurred, or returned. Regular multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards are held to insure patients receive state-of-the-art care with keen attention to the individualization of their medical care.
